(KLZA)-- Two people are dead and one is injured after two sport-utility vehicles collide in southeast Nebraska.
The crash happened west of Johnson shortly before 8:30 Thursday evening.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office says a southbound SUV on Highway 105 collided with a westbound SUV on Spur 64B that failed to yield the right of way.
The driver of the southbound SUV was transported to the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. Both occupants of the westbound SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office says it's withholding the identifies of the people involved until deputies notify family members.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Nebraska State Patrol.
