(KNZA)--The bid is awarded for the replacement of a Jackson County Bridge.
That word comes from the Kansas Department of Transportation, following a bid opening in Topeka last month.
King Construction Company Inc. and Subsidiaries, of Hesston, Kansas, was awarded the bid for the more than $400,000 project.
The Jackson County bridge is located 2 miles west of Denison, on 190th Road.
A time frame for the work is not immediately released.
