(KNZA)--A Kansas City, Kansas man convicted of passing counterfeit money in the city of Hiawatha has been placed on 18 months supervised probation.
32-year-old Jeffrey Kosman was given a suspended prison sentence Monday on two felony counts of making false information and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana along with a charge of felony theft in a separate case.
He pleaded no contest to the charges last month as part of a plea agreement. In exchange for the plea, two other charges were dismissed.
Kosman was arrested in September following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department.
