Jury Trial Set in Human Trafficking Case
11/19/2015

(KMZA)--A jury trial has been set for a Marysville woman accused of trafficking a minor for prostitution.

19-year-old Miranda Cain pleaded “ not guilty” Tuesday in Marshall County District Court to charges of aggravated human trafficking of a child and commercial sexual exploitation of a child.

A jury trial was set for April 6th, and is expected to last three days.

Cain was arrested in June after the Marysville Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted an undercover operation at a local motel investigating the alleged crimes involving a child born in May 2001.  The juvenile was taken into protective custody at the time.

Cain remains in the Marshall County Jail on $150,000 bond.
