(KLZA)-- Rhonda Clark appeared before the Johnson-Brock Board of Education Monday evening and read a letter to the Board regarding her recent complaints to the Nebraska Attorney General.
Later in the meeting the Board discussed the disposition letter received from the Attorney General. Board President Darren Oestmann stated the Board will be more descriptive and give more detail as to why they are entering into executive session. He said they will have to “police” themselves and some things may have wait, with action taking longer at times.
The 8th Grade Geography Class gave a presentation on school interest in updating the track. The class has worked with University of Nebraska student Kenzee Kucera and found there is an overall interest in updating the track. The 8th grade class will be hosting a dodge ball tournament, with proceeds going toward a new track.
Several insurance quotes from the Casey Agency were presented to the Board regarding increasing the District’s umbrella and data compromise coverage.
