MoDOT Names New Director

(KAIR)--The Missouri Department of Transportation, during a press conference held Thursday, announced that Patrick McKenna has been named as its new Director.


McKenna says that he is excited to take the job, and while the state does face a lot of transportation problems, he is confident in his staff, who he says has proven over time that they can handle those challenges.

McKenna previously served as Deputy Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, a job in which he worked as the chief financial, operating, and legislative officer of the organization. He had also worked for several years as the the sole proprietor of a real estate holdings company.

McKenna replaces Interim Director Roberta Broeker, who will return to her previous position as MoDOT's Chief Financial Officer.
