(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners approved Sheriff Don Pounds request to dismiss a Jail employee when the Board met Tuesday.
Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert updated Commissioners on damages form the June 8th storm that have been turned into FEMA. FEMA has agreed to provide funding to replace a culvert south of Shubert in which this project will need to be let out for bids.
Huppert was authorized to advertise for sealed bids for the FEMA culvert project to be received at 11 a-m Tuesday, November 10th. Sealed bids will also be opened November 3rd at 11:30 a-m for a trailer.
Huppert also updated the Board on a nuisance violation of weeds and grasses at the County Shop in Verdon. Huppert said the grounds have been mowed and procedures are in place to mow the extended area around the shop which has been determined to be the County’s responsibility.
