(KNZA)--A single-vehicle early Monday morning crash on U.S. 59 Highway in Jefferson County about six miles south of Oskaloosa sent a Topeka man to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Kyle Christopher Inscho was southbound when his car went off the roadway and into a ditch, striking a tree. The vehicle came to rest on its side and caught fire.
Inscho was flown to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City with what the Patrol described as disabling injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly before 4:30.
