(KNZA)--Police have identified the man who died after a disturbance at a St. Joseph motel early Monday morning.
St. Joseph Police say the victim is 52-year-old Steven Lynn Billings, of St. Joseph.
KQ2-TV reports police were called around 2:00 Monday morning to a Frederick Street motel following a reported disturbance and assault.
When they arrived, police found Billings and 39-year-old Elizabeth Miller with what they believed to be stab wounds.
Billings was taken to a Mosaic Life Care where he died a short time later.
Miller was also taken to the hospital for treatment and later arrested on a parole violation.
