(MSC News)--A 52-year-old man is dead following what Saint Joseph Police say appears to be a Monday morning stabbing.
KQ2-TV reports that police were called to a Frederick Street motel following a reported disturbance and assault.
When they arrived, police discovered the man and a 39-year-old woman both suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both were transported to an area hospital, where the man died a short time later.
The woman was treated and then taken into police custody on unrelated charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
No details regarding the victim, or the woman, have yet been made public.
