(MSC News)--Minor injuries for a Saint Joseph, Missouri police officer following an early evening altercation Tuesday.
KQ2-TV is reporting that the female officer suffered injuries to her leg during the attempted apprehension of a suspect who tried to flee.
It happened near the intersection of 22nd and Garfield Streets, but exactly what led to the altercation, and resulting injuries, remains unclear.
The officer was transported to Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph where she was treated and released following the 7:30 incident.
