(KAIR)--An Atchison man is among two killed in an early Saturday morning rollover crash in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identifies the local victim as 22-year-old Tevin Gillum, who was transported to the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Also killed in the crash was 25-year-old Donte Gardner, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Patrol report states that Gardner was driving a Cadillac Deville northbound on U.S. Highway 59 when he failed to stop at the intersection of K-4 Highway, near the city limits of Nortonville. The car ran into the ditch and rolled over numerous times.
A second passenger in the vehicle, identified as 25-year-old Council Bluffs, Iowa resident Kenton Russell II, was not hurt. The patrol says he was the only one buckled up when the wreck happened shortly after 5:00.
