(KAIR)--The case of a Pittsburg, Kansas man, accused of burglarizing an Atchison home, has been continued.
The attorney for 22-year-old Justin Jones requested the continuance during an appearance Friday morning in Atchison County District Court, since he had just been appointed to the case, and needed more time to prepare. The judge granted the continuance, and set a new preliminary hearing date for October 2nd.
Jones is facing charges of aggravated burglary, felony theft, and criminal damage to property in connection with an alleged burglary at a home located in the 700 block of U Street on September 18th. Investigators also believe Jones had been involved with a single vehicle wreck earlier that same day.
