(KMZA)--Railroad repair work this week, just east of Home in Marshall County, will mean a detour for motorists.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says Union Pacific will be conducting repairs on the railroad tracks in that location, meaning both eastbound and westbound U.S. Highway 36 will be closed to traffic. That will happen from 7:00 Thursday morning until 3:00 Friday afternoon, weather permitting.
A marked detour route will be provided.
