(KLZA)-- Railroad crossing repair work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 22 at 8 a-m and end on Wednesday at 4 p-m on US-136 at Reference Post 209.21 west of Tecumseh, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads. Work is anticipated to take two days.
Both lanes of traffic will be closed. The detour route is at the junction of US-136 and Nebraska-4 east on Nebraska -4 to the junction of Nebraska 4 and Nebraska-50, north on Nebraska -50 to Tecumseh at the junction of Nebrasla – 50 and U.S.136.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
Motorists are asked to drive safely near construction work and along detour routes.
