Peru State President Finalist For New Position

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - A committee searching for Dickinson State University's next president has named two finalists after conducting interviews with five semifinalists.

Still in the running to lead the southwestern North Dakota school are Peru State College President Daniel Hanson and Trinity College vice president and faculty dean Thomas Mitzel. Peru State is in Nebraska and Trinity is in Connecticut.

The state Board of Higher Education will conduct final interviews on the DSU campus and select a new president Sept. 30.

Former President D.C. Coston stepped down in August due to health concern
