(KNZA)--A motorcycle crash on K-32 Highway in Leavenworth County Friday night left one person dead and another injured.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 48-year-old Dawn Caruthers, of Baldwin City, was killed when the Harley Davidson motorcycle she was a passenger on left the highway at 238th Street and overturned shortly before 8:30.
Both Caruthers and the motorcycle driver, 45-year-old Baldwin City resident Steven Harris, were ejected.
Harris was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The Patrol says neither were wearing helmets.
