(KLZA)-- Homecoming will be celebrated Friday night at Mound City for both Mound City High School and Craig High School. With the two schools co-oping sports, the royalty will be crowned the same evening, prior to the football game with Worth County.
The Craig candidates are Jocelyn Clayton, a junior, Deanna Clayton a sophomore and Kaitlyn Panning a freshman for queen. King candidates are juniors Dawsen Ballard and Chandler Monroe and sophomore Dylon Faller.
For Mound City the homecoming queen candidates are Kendey Eaton, Mae Sanders, Kenzie Ashford and Emily Wedlock.
King candidates are Kyler Miles, Chanlder Wilson, Hunter Holstine and Jaden Gillinwater. All the Mound City candidates are seniors.
Thursday evening there will be a bonfire after the volleyball game at Griffith Park.
Friday the homecoming parade will be held in downtown Mound City, followed by a pep assembly in the school gymnasium.
