(KNZA)--One injured after a vehicle wrecks into a motorcycle in Horton Saturday night.
Hurt was 38-year-old Horton resident Angela Dexter, who was transported to Horton Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police Chief John Calhoon says the wreck happened shortly before 11:00. “Dexter was northbound on 3rd Avenue West,” Calhoon tells MSC News. “A 17-year-old driving southbound on 3rd Avenue West attempted to make a turn to go east bound on 12th, at Third Avenue West, and basically turned into the [2005 Harley-Davidson] motorcycle that was northbound.”
Calhoon says the driver of the 2002 Buick SUV, identified as Horton resident Zachary Hicks, was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
