(KAIR)--An Atchison man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly attempting to strike a woman with his vehicle.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says it happened when “the 29-year-old female victim was walking in the 800 block of Main Street with several friends, when her 34-year-old former boyfriend was in a vehicle in the area...the suspect attempted to run them over with the vehicle. They were not struck, there were no injuries.”
Brandon Dozier was located several hours later and taken into custody.
Dozier was booked into the Atchison County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault.
