(KNZA)--Funeral services have been set for Brown County Clerk Debbie Parker.
Parker died Friday morning at her home in Hiawatha at the age of 59 following a hard fought battle with breast cancer.
She had worked for the county since 1996, starting in the Treasurer’s office, and became County Clerk in 2000.
A Celebration of Life Service for Parker will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the Christian Center in Hiawatha.
The Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha is in charge of the arrangements.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Monday until 4 at which time the body will be moved to the Christian Center where the family will meet from 6 until 8 that evening.
The offices on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Brown County Courthouse will be closed Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. so employees can attend the service.
