(KAIR)--A Muscotah woman will stand trial on charges related to the alleged abuse of her three month old son.
Following a preliminary hearing Thursday in Atchison County District Court, 22-year-old Heidi Pace was bound over for arraignment on one count of abuse of a child and one count of aggravated battery.
Arraignment has been set for September 4th.
Pace was arrested in April, after a social worker at Children's Mercy Hospital reported to law enforcement officials that a child was being treated for injuries believed to have been caused by abuse.
Pace remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $50,000 bond.
