(MSC News)--A September 16th court appearance is set for a former Physician Assistant at the Leavenworth VA hospital accused of sexually abusing patients. That follows the latest court appearance for Horton resident Mark Wisner earlier this month. At that time, his Atchison attorney withdrew from the case, with the court to appoint an attorney instead.
KSHB-TV this week revealed details of documents that outline the abuse allegedly committed by Wisner, including a veteran's statement that he was sodomized during a prostate exam.
Along with sexual abuse, Wisner is accused of over-prescribing medications and failing to refer patients to services they needed.
