(KAIR)--The Chairman of the Kansas Democratic Party has resigned from the position.
Chairman Larry Meeker has announced that he will resign, effective Monday, and cites his concern that his priorities may be diverting the organization from it's primary goal of electing Democrats, and restoring some common sense to Kansas government.
Party Vice Chair Kathryn Focke of Manhattan will serve as interim Party Chair until a new Chair is elected.
