(KAIR)--An Atchison man, facing charges of battery, disorderly conduct, and obstructing the legal process, has had his case continued.
26-year-old Jerome Bratton Jr. appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday morning, where the continuance was granted after he was appointed an attorney.
A new court date has been set for August 28th.
Bratton was arrested earlier this month after police were called to a residence located in the 1500 block of North Seventh Street for a report of a disturbance. The 61-year-old victim remained at the scene, but Bratton had left. He was located minutes later in the 700 block of L Street.
