(KAIR)--The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is continuing the search for a suspect who fled on foot from a deputy Saturday.
Sheriff Tim Morse says in a release that 25-year-old Danny Ross Adams, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Wyandotte county, remains at large, and may be on his way to, or already in the Meriden, Topeka, or Denison area. Two major searches were conducted Sunday in heavily wooded areas where Adams had been recently sighted.
Adams is described as being six foot tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds with long dark hair, hazel eyes, a scare on his face, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing black pants, black ball cap, no shirt, and glasses.
Morse says there is no indication that Adams is dangerous, though he says that if he is sighted, residents should not approach him, and contact law enforcement immediately.
