( MissouriNet)-- Nearly 4-million dollars in improvements are slated for the Missouri State fairgrounds. The funds are made possible through the “Build Missouri” initiative and the Legislature. State Fair Director Mark Wolfe says several of their buildings qualify for the national register of historic places.
Renovations are planned for the Womans Building, Coliseum, and west campgrounds. The state fair is August 13th through the 23rd in Sedalia and Wolfe says the improvements will begin after the fair ends.
