John Gordon
(KNZA)--An October 27th jury trial has been set for a former Jefferson County fire chief charged with misuse of public funds and theft.
John Gordon, of Valley Falls, pleaded “ not guilty” last November to the felony charges.
Authorities allege Gordon stole between $1,000 and $25,000 while serving as fire chief of Jefferson County Fire District #11.
He was arrested in June of last year following an investigation by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
