(KAIR)--An Atchison man, convicted of sex crimes against a child that took place nearly seven years ago, has been sentenced to probation in the case.
21-year-old Collin Calhoon was sentenced Thursday to 27 months in a juvenile correctional facility. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on eighteen months of supervised probation.
Calhoon was arrested in March following an investigation by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation into alleged sex crimes between January 2008 and February 2009.
