(KNZA)--The preliminary hearing for one of three men charged in connection with an April home invasion on the Kickapoo Reservation has been postponed for a second time.
The hearing for 32-year-old Tyler “ Tiger” Banks had been scheduled for Wednesday in a Brown County courtroom, but was continued to September 2nd because a witness wasn’t available.
Banks is charged with five counts—including felony charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and criminal threat along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property.
Jury trials are set for the two other men charged in the case after they pleaded “ not guilty” to charges last week. 21-year-old Andrew Darnell is scheduled for a 4-day trial beginning December 8th on five felony counts, and a trial for 35-year-old Westley Banks is set to begin January 5th on seven counts.
All three men remain in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bond.
