(KNZA)--A head-on collision in Buchanan County, Missouri early Monday afternoon sent a St. Joseph teen to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened shortly after 12:15 on Ingersoll Road near Lake View Street about one mile west of St. Joseph.
The Patrol says 16-year-old Chelsey Moser was southbound when her car crossed the center line and struck a northbound pickup truck head-on.
Moser was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with moderate injuries. The pickup driver, 42-year-old St. Joseph resident Jerry Barnard, was not hurt.
