( KLZA)--A winning lottery ticket worth $44,000 was sold in Falls City.
The Nebraska Lottery has confirmed that one ticket sold for Tuesday night's 2 by 2 drawing matched all four winning numbers for the top prize. The ticket was sold at Casey's General Store in Falls City.
The winning numbers were red ball numbers 6, 17 and white ball numbers 4, 23.
Matching all four winning numbers on a regular 2 by 2 ticket is worth $22,000. However, the winning ticket from Tuesday night was a multi-draw ticket eligible for 2 by2 Tuesday, a feature where all prizes won on Tuesday are automatically doubled. So, the $22,000 prize was doubled to $44,000. It's the seventh doubled 2 by 2 top prize won in Nebraska to date.
Winning Nebraska Lottery Lotto tickets expire 180 days after the drawing. Prizes of $20,000 or more must be claimed in person at Lottery headquarters in Lincoln. Visit nelottery.com for more information about claiming prizes.
