Longtime Marshall Co Appraiser to Retire
07/13/2015

(KMZA)--Longtime Marshall County Appraiser Janet Duever plans to retire.

Duever informed the County Commission last week that she plans to step down October 1st.  She told MSC News that she’s eligible to retire with the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System or KPERS, and felt it was time do so.

Upon her retirement, Duever says she plans to spend time with her grandchildren, golfing and relaxing.

She has served as county appraiser since 1994 and has been a county employee for 41 years.

The commission will now begin looking for a new county appraiser.
