(KAIR)--Cereal Ingredients Inc., a business specializing in cereal-related products has announced that it plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Leavenworth.
According to a release issued by the Kansas Department of Commerce on Friday, plans include adding at least 32 new jobs and investing $12 million in expanding their facilities in Leavenworth.
The company moved it's manufacturing facility to Leavenworth in 2004, and currently provides 104 jobs to the local area. The new expansion will add 81,000 square feet of warehousing, maintenance, and production space to the facility.
Cereal Ingredients Inc. exports its products to over 19 countries. It was named Kansas Exporter of the Year in 2009.
