(KLZA)-- Two truck drivers were seriously injured Thursday morning in a rear-end collision on Interstate-29 a mile south of Mound City, Missouri.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Mack tractor and trailer operated by 54-year-old Marion Collins of Kansas City, Missouri entered a construction work zone and struck the rear of an International dump truck driven by 50-year-old Darin Meyer of Mound City.
Meyer was traveling at a slow rate of speed in the dump truck.
Both drivers were transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by the Atchison-Holt Ambulance Squad.
