Holt County MO. Truck Wreck Injures One
07/06/2015

(KLZA)-- 60-year old Kenneth Keith of St. Joseph, MO. suffered minor injuries early Monday morning when he wrecked his 2002 International Semi tractor trailer four miles north of Forest City, on Highway 111.

At approximately 5:25 a-m, Keith was northbound, failed to negotiate a curve to the right, skidded across the center line, and the trailer he was towing slid off the west side of the roadway and overturned. As a result, the semi overturned, coming to rest on the drivers side, partially in the southbound lane and partially off the roadway.

Keith suffered what the Missouri Highway Patrol report described as minor injuries and was transported by the Atchison-Holt Ambulance Squad to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

The truck suffered extensive damage.  Assisting the Missouri Highway Patrol at the site of the wreck was the Holt County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri Department of Transportation.
