(KNZA)--A Kansas City man, convicted of acting as the getaway driver in five bank robberies, including one in Saint Joseph, Missouri, is going to prison.
The office of U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom says 35-year-old Dale Williamson has been sentenced to more than 4 ½ years in a federal prison.
Williamson earlier plead guilty to five counts of bank robbery, admitting to being behind the wheel of the getaway car in four Kansas City area robberies and a May 30th, 2014 robbery of the Commerce Bank in Saint Joseph.
