(KNZA)--A Holton woman has been arrested in connection with a theft at a rural Jackson County business.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says deputies arrested 25-year-old Claudia Aniles Sunday night for felony theft.
Morse says the sheriff’s office received a report on Saturday of a suspicious vehicle shortly after midnight that was seen at Varco Motors West located on 198th Road. It was later determined that a generator was missing from the business.
Morse says deputies recovered the stolen generator Sunday night in a barn in rural Jackson County.
Aniles remains in the Jackson County Jail, with bond pending at this time.
