Vandalism at Seneca Cemetery Being Investigated

(KMZA)--An estimated $5,000 worth of damage.

That’s what the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says someone caused at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery on North 11th Street in Seneca sometime late June 5th or early June 6th.

The sheriff’s department says damaged was the marble “ Altar of Sacrifice” at the cemetery.

The criminal damage to property incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Nemaha County Sheriff’s office in Seneca.
