(KAIR)--A Muscotah woman, accused of abusing her three month old son, has had a preliminary hearing date set in her case.
That follows an appearance in Atchison County District Court by 22-year-old Heidi Pace Monday afternoon. Judge Martin Asher set the hearing date for July 15th.
Pace was arrested in April, after a social worker with Children's Mercy Hospital reported to law enforcement officials that a child was being treated for injuries believed to have been caused by abuse.
Pace remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $100,000 bond.
