(KAIR)--The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced that a lane closure in Leavenworth county that was scheduled to take place last week, has been moved to Wednesday due to recent weather conditions.
The closure is due to ongoing pavement reconstruction work on a stretch of U.S. 73/K7.
According to a release from KDOT, U.S. 73/K-7 from the Tenth Street Intersection to the Twelfth Street intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Phase one work, located between the Seventh Street and 10th Street intersections started on May 12, and is scheduled to be completed in mid to late June, weather permitting.
