(KLZA)-- NioCorp Developments, the company working towards the development of a Niobium mine in the Elk Creek area has announced a change in leadership and a relocation of its corporate headquarters.
Peter Dickie announced he is retiring as Presidents of NioCorp and has stepped down from the Board of Directors. Dickie will continue to serve as a consultant on an as needed basis. In addition, he will continue to be a significant shareholder in the company. Mark A. Smith will now serve as President of NioCorp.
The company has also announced that, effective immediately, NioCorp’s headquarters is relocating from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Denver, Colorado, where the senior management team in based.
Teresa McGowan has been appointed to the role of Senior Manager of Investor Relations. She most recently served as Senior IR Specialist at DigitalGlobe Inc. a New York Stock Exchange listed company.
NioCorp expects to move into the construction phase of the Elk Creek mine development in 2016.
