(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Commissioners approved a three year contract for GIS Workshop this week. The agreement goes into effect July 1 and includes a WebGIS subscription and Assessor 100% Support in an amount of $10,190 per year.
Pawnee County Attorney Jennifer Stehlik Ladman and Clerk Candi Nicholas met with the Commissioners to present information on the County contracting for a Public Defender. No action was taken.
Elected County officials and the Highway Superintendent met with the Board to begin compiling a new Pawnee County Employee Handbook. The county budget was also discussed. Commissioner Dennis Schaardt and County Clerk Candi Nicholas will prepare the budget. An update on the progress will given during each commission meeting.
Pawnee County Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner met it the Board, presenting samples of rock from Hamms Quarry, Martin Marrietta, Holmesville and Barneston. Commissioners went into a 10-minute executive session with Rauner for personnel for the prevention of needless injury to the reputation of an individual or individuals.
The Board also discussed the Courthouse Custodian and Building &
Grounds position. Interviews will be conducted June 15th at 3 p-m.
