(KLZA)--The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office is participating in the National Click it or Ticket Campaign now through May 31st.
The Sheriff’s Office along with other law enforcement agencies across the country will work together to raise awareness for national seat belt usage and to encourage safe driving through the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.
Richardson County Sheriff’s Deputy Clinton Stonebarger wrote and submitted a grant to participate in the program. The grant was awarded to the Sheriff’s Office and will pay for up to 25 hours of overtime for each member of the Sheriff’s Office working overtime during the campaign period.
The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reminds drivers to Buckle Up and Drive Safe.
