(KNZA)--A single-vehicle roll-over wreck on U.S. 73 Highway just north of Horton Sunday morning sent a Hiawatha woman to the hospital.
Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says 33-year-old Tawanda Mabrey was southbound when her 2000 Ford Expedition left the roadway, coming to rest on its top.
Mabrey was transported to the Horton Community Hospital. She was flown by helicopter to a Topeka hospital later in the day.
The wreck was reported shortly after 9:30.
