(MSC News)--Three arrests are made in connection with the body of a Saint Joseph, Missouri man found in an area river.
KQ2 TV reports the arrests followed the search of an Elwood home Sunday night, with investigators saying evidence was seized from the Doniphan County property related to the murder of 28-year-old Richard Berry.
The Saint Joseph News-Press says the suspects include two from Elwood, listed only as a 43-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, and one from Saint Joseph, identified only as a 24-year-old man.
Names are not made public as charges remain pending.
Berry's body was found in the Third Fork River around midnight Saturday by a passerby. A large blood stain was visible on the river bridge, along with blood droplets on the bridge's north side rail.
Buchanan County Sheriff Mike Strong has said there was trauma to Berry's body.
