(KNZA)--Two injuries are reported following a Monday morning Jackson County crash involving a car and a semi.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened on U.S. Highway 75, just north of the Holton Hospital, when the southbound car crossed the center line and collided with the northbound semi.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of the car, from Topeka, was unhurt, but two passengers were transported by Jackson County EMS to Topeka's Stormont Vail Regional Health Center for treatment. 39-year-old Omaha, Nebraska resident Tyrone Mitchell suffered definite injuries while 60-year-old Ronnie Marn, of Topeka, suffered possible injuries
The driver of the semi, from Wellsville, Kansas, was not hurt.
Everyone was buckled up when the crash happened around 7:45.
Holton Police and Fire assisted at the scene.
