(KAIR)--The Atchison Masonic Lodge will be celebrating 100 years with a re- dedication ceremony this weekend.
Lodge Secretary Mike Schaeffer says events will take place all day Saturday, with the morning set aside for a private lodge meeting, with the Grand Master of Kansas and some Grand Lodge Officers coming to the area to open the Grand Lodge with an 11:00 ceremony.
Schaeffer adds that the public is invited to attend the afternoon ceremony on the third floor of the hall, starting at 1:00.
The public re dedication ceremony will take place at the Masonic Lodge, located at 121 ½ North Fifth Street, at the corner of Fifth Street and Kansas Avenue. Lodge members will be available to conduct tours and answer any questions. Light refreshments will also be available.
