Tie Broken for Corning Council Seat

(KMZA)--A tie vote has been broken for a seat on the Corning City Council.

Curt Rempe and Jim Kramer each received five write-in votes during the April 7th election.

On Monday, Nemaha County Commissioner Tim Burdiek drew Rempe’s name to break the tie.

Brian Kramer, who received 7 write-in votes, will fill the other open Council seat.
