(KAIR)--The Atchison County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of property from a garage in rural Atchison County.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says that an unknown suspect entered the garage, located on 18671 US 159 Highway, near the Brown County line, and removed a four wheeler, a handgun, and an impact gun.
Investigators believe the incident took place sometime between 11:00PM on April 4th and 10:00AM April 8th.
The total value of the items is approximately $6,000.
Officials do not yet have any suspects in the case, but the search for leads continues.
